Jim currently lives in Mt. Pleasant, Utah and is the father of four children and 5 grandchildren. He regularly attends classes and improves his skills. He continually seeks for new and better ways to teach “The Art and Science of Piano Tuning and Technology” to others.

• 49 years as a piano technician
• 13 years full-time as a concert technician for Brigham Young University
• <26 years part-time Snow College
• Attended over 200 classes on piano technology
• Instructor at National and regional PTG Conferences
• Director of PTG regional conventions
• Director of Master Piano Technician’s National Convention
• 22 years as an adjunct college music teacher
• 9 years as a full-time secondary education teacher
